Small Group Tours (max. 6 people)
The tours we offer are designed for those who prefer a relaxed pace, comprehensive insights from knowledgeable guides, local meals in small boutique restaurants (we avoid large bus group venues with open-buffet lunches), and a small group experience. If you prefer tours that visit many sites quickly, these may not align with your expectations.
Embark on an unforgettable journey through Cappadocia's Soganli Valley and Underground City! Our adventure starts at 9:30 AM with a convenient hotel pickup. We will first head to the Ortahisar Panorama Point (Lavanta Panorama) where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Ortahisar Castle. Throughout the tour, our expert guide will share fascinating insights about the region’s rich history and unique geography.
Next, we will visit Mustafapasa (known as Sinasos in Greek), a charming former Greek village renowned for its stunning architecture. This village was historically inhabited by both Turkish and Greek communities until the 1924 population exchange. You will have the chance to admire historic Greek houses, an Ottoman madrasah, and a 19th-century church.
After exploring Mustafapasa, our journey continues to the Keslik Monastery, a lesser-known yet captivating site. The monastery contains three churches from different periods, all worth visiting. The Church of Archangels stands out with its remarkable frescoes illustrating the life of Jesus and the Virgin Mary. Then, we will proceed to the Sobessos Excavation Site to discover the remains of a Roman bath, tombs, a temple, and stunning mosaics.
Next, we head to Soganli Valley, one of Cappadocia’s most serene and hidden valleys. We will hike along one side of the valley, exploring ancient cave churches, before returning on the opposite side to the old village. A delicious lunch will be served amidst this picturesque valley.
In the afternoon, the tour continues to Derinkuyu Underground City, known as the deepest underground city in Cappadocia and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will explore the fascinating caves and learn about the historic lifestyle of its inhabitants. The tour will wrap up around 4:30-5:00 PM with transportation back to your hotel.
The price for this full-day tour is 175 Euros per person. For further details, please email us or contact us directly by messaging us on Whatsapp, and we will reply promptly.
