Private Tour
Our tours are tailored for travelers who appreciate a leisurely pace, in-depth explanations from experienced guides, and authentic local cuisine served in intimate boutique restaurants—we intentionally avoid crowded buffet spots typically used by large tour groups. If your preference is for fast-paced itineraries that cover many sites in a short time, our style of touring may not be the right fit for you.
Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel at 10:00 AM to begin a scenic hike through the stunning Red and Rose Valleys, some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Cappadocia. Along the trail, you’ll encounter numerous pigeon houses, enjoy spectacular views of Uchisar Castle, and explore ancient rock-carved churches that date back more than 1,000 years. The hike will last approximately 1.5 hours and conclude in Cavusin Village, a once-inhabited Greek settlement now known for its incredible scenery.
Cavusin Village was deserted in the 1950s due to rockfalls that made the area unsafe. After taking in the sweeping panoramic views of the village, we’ll head to the Uchisar Castle Viewpoint for another chance to admire the beauty of this iconic site. Following this, we’ll visit a local restaurant for lunch, where you’ll have the opportunity to try the region’s specialty—Pottery Kebab.
After enjoying lunch, we’ll head to the Goreme Open Air Museum, which has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. This remarkable site features the finest examples of rock-carved churches in the Cappadocia region. During the visit, you'll learn about the rich tradition of Eastern Orthodox frescoes and the symbolism behind the religious artwork.
Next, we’ll travel to Mustafapasa Village, also known as Sinasos, a place that was once home to both Greek and Turkish communities until the mandatory population exchange in 1924. Here, you’ll have the chance to see well-preserved Greek mansions, a historic Ottoman-era Madrasah, and an old church reflecting the area's multicultural past. Our final stop will be in Urgup to admire stunning formations of fairy chimneys. After the tour, we will return you to your hotel at approximately 17:00.
