Sagalassos stands as one of Turkey’s most well-preserved ancient cities. Situated in the southwest region, it lies over one hundred kilometers north of Antalya’s coastal area, within Burdur province. Sagalassos was the principal city of ancient Pisidia, bordered by the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea to the south, and the Anatolian plateau to the north.
One of the most remarkable discoveries in the city is the Fountain of Antonine, constructed between 161-180 AD during a period of Roman prosperity under Emperor Marcus Aurelius. Excavations took place from 1993 to 1995, with restoration work beginning in 1998 and finishing in 2000. Impressively, water still flows from this ancient fountain. You will also explore other well-preserved structures including the state agora, various fountains, the theater, baths, heroon, and several temples with your guide.
The archaeological site of Sagalassos has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List since 2009.
Following lunch at a pleasant local restaurant, we will proceed to visit Ariassos Ancient City before returning to your hotel around 4:00 PM.

If you cancel 48 hours before the tour, there is no cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 48 hours to 24 hours before the tour, we will charge 50% cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour , we will charge the full amount as cancellation fee.
We cannot give any refund on no-shows for the tour.
