Itinerary Details

The tour begins with a gathering at a designated central location alongside our professional guide, which will be shared with you during the booking process. The departure is set for 9:00 AM. Your first stop will be the Topkapi Palace, the residence of Ottoman Sultans perched on the Sarayburnu hills. This iconic landmark showcases a blend of architectural styles and stands as the most visited museum in Turkey. Highlights of your visit will include the imperial treasury, royal garments, and sacred relics. Please note that the Harem section is not included in the standard tour and requires an additional entrance fee.

The experience continues with a guided walk through the historic Hippodrome, once the social and sporting center of Constantinople. This ancient site hosted chariot races, public celebrations, uprisings, executions, and many pivotal events during both the Byzantine and Ottoman periods. The walk will last approximately 45 minutes. This concludes the morning half of the tour.

Our journey will continue with a break at a local restaurant where you’ll enjoy a variety of authentic Turkish dishes. The afternoon portion of the tour begins at approximately 13:30, starting with a visit to the iconic Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya). This historic monument uniquely reflects both Christian and Islamic heritage. Originally built in 537 AD by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian, it was later converted into a mosque during the 15th century. Your visit will last around an hour and includes the courtyard, entrance area, main hall, and upper gallery.

Following Hagia Sophia, you will explore the magnificent Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Camii), renowned for its stunning interior adorned with some of the finest examples of Turkish tile craftsmanship. Constructed in the 17th century, the Blue Mosque is an architectural landmark of Istanbul, prominently located in the heart of the historic city.

The tour concludes with a visit to the legendary Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, housing over 4000 individual shops. After exploring this vibrant trading hub, your tour guide will assist you in finding your way back to your hotel at around 17:00.

The total cost of this tour is 160 Euros per person. Feel free to email us for additional details or reach out via WhatsApp—we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.
