Itinerary Details

Day 1 (Private Cappadocia Tour, lunch and dinner included)

Your day begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in the Sultanahmet/Taksim area around 07:00am. We will then transfer you to Istanbul Airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, our driver & guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. After approximately a 1-hour drive, you will reach your hotel.

After some time to refresh, we will begin your Cappadocia tour. We will start with lunch at the Kosebasi Kapadokya Restaurant and then head to the most iconic site in the Cappadocia Region: the Goreme Open Air Museum. This museum has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985 and is home to some of the best-preserved and beautifully painted rock-cut churches in the area. The Dark Church, which requires an additional entrance fee, will also be part of your tour. After exploring the open-air museum, we will return you to your hotel for some rest. In the evening, our driver & guide will meet you again and take you to Ziggy Restaurant for a delightful dinner. Afterward, we will drive you back to your hotel. Overnight stay will be at a cave hotel in Goreme.

Day 2 (Private Cappadocia Tour, breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Optional Hot Air Balloon Flight in the early morning can be a good start the day with sunrise.

After meeting with your guide at the time you agreed upon the previous evening, you'll begin your exploration of the enchanting Cappadocia. The first stop will be Cavusin Village, where Greek and Turkish communities lived side by side until 1924. We will hike to the top of the village to visit one of the oldest churches in the area, the St. John Church from the 5th century. You will also discover an ancient Greek and Turkish village that was inhabited until the 1950s, after which the residents were relocated due to falling rocks. Your guide will explain the population exchange between Greeks and Turks in 1924, an event that affected all of Turkey. We will then head to Pasabag (Monks Valley), home to some of the best-preserved fairy chimneys in the region. The fairy chimneys in this valley are among the finest examples in Cappadocia, often referred to as the “mushroom fairy chimneys.

Next, we will enjoy a kick-wheel pottery demonstration in Avanos, a tradition passed down from the Hittites around 4000 years ago. This craft, which began with the Hittites, has become a vital part of the town's cultural heritage. Our lunch will be at Dreamspot Cappadocia Restaurant. Afterward, we will visit Devrent Valley and the Urgup Fairy Chimneys to explore the unique formations and colors of the fairy chimneys. Then, we will drive back to your hotel. After a few hours of rest at the hotel, our guide & driver will meet you again and take you to Karakiz Meyhanesi Restaurant in Uchisar for a delightful dinner. Once dinner is finished, we will drive you back to your hotel. Overnight accommodation will be at a luxurious cave hotel in Goreme.

Day 3 (Private Cappadocia Tour, breakfast and lunch included)

Our guide & driver will meet you at the hotel and take you to the Red & Rose Valleys for an enjoyable hike through these stunning valleys. This hike could very well be one of the highlights of your trip to Turkey. As we walk, you will explore several churches that are over 1000 years old, as well as ancient settlements, and witness the remarkable colors & shapes of the fairy chimneys and rock formations. After the hike, we will head to the Goreme Panorama Point to take in the breathtaking views of the valleys and enjoy a cup of Turkish coffee.

Next, we will visit Uchisar Village from the viewpoint of Pigeon Valley before heading to Jardinn Restaurant for lunch. After our meal, we will drive you to Kaymakli Underground City to explore the fascinating underground life. Once you’ve experienced the depths of this ancient city, we will take you to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Upon your arrival in Istanbul, our driver will meet you and drive you back to your hotel in Istanbul.
