The method includes soaking the apricots in ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin for a period of three months without adding any artificial flavors or essences. After filtration, the resulting "Apricot Infusion" is blended with simple syrup, rectified ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin, and demineralized water. The alcohol concentration is carefully adjusted to around 27% by volume, and the mixture is then left to rest and filtered for at least 30 days. The final outcome is a distilled alcoholic beverage that perfectly embodies the true essence of apricots. Chemical Characteristics of the Product: The authentic Turkish Apricot Liqueur obtains its acidity naturally from the fruit, with an acidity level close to 100 g per hectoliter expressed as acetic acid. The ingredient composition used in producing 100 liters of the beverage is detailed below: Apricot Infusion: Created by macerating apricot fruit without adding any artificial flavors or essences, this raw material is produced through processing and filtering the macerate. Approximately 37.5 kg of apricot fruit is utilized per 100 liters of 100% alcohol during infusion production, maintaining an infusion alcohol concentration of 30%. Apricot Seed Alcohol (Apricot Seed Distillate): Extracted by macerating apricot seeds in agricultural-origin ethyl alcohol for 48 hours, followed by distillation of the dried and cracked seeds during fruit processing. The apricot seed alcohol comprises 3% of the liqueur mixture. Agricultural-Origin Rectified Ethyl Alcohol: Ethyl alcohol purified by rectifying agricultural-origin pure ethyl alcohol. This rectification process removes impurities such as aldehydes, esters, methanol, and higher alcohols through distillation columns utilizing differences in boiling points. It constitutes 17.4% of the liqueur blend.
