It is then cooked over medium heat for 15-20 minutes. If desired, sunflower oil is added and mixed in. Afterward, sugar is incorporated and cooked for another 12 minutes. At this stage, turmeric or saffron, followed by ground cinnamon, is added sequentially and stirred for 12 minutes before removing the pot from the heat. The Cizre Bırınczer is then poured into bowls, topped with powdered cinnamon, and allowed to cool.
