Day 1 (Arrival to Istanbul)

After your arrival to Istanbul Airport, we will meet you in front of the exit gate at the international terminal; with a sign bearing your name and transfer you to your hotel in Old City area (Sultanahmet). You will have free time in the afternoon depending on your arrival time. It is possible to include some tours on this day if you are arriving in the morning. Overnight accommodation in Sultanahmet.

Day 2 (Group Istanbul Tour, breakfast and lunch included)

The tour will start with the pick-up from your hotel around 08:30. We will start with Roman Hippodrome (the site of ancient races, games and riots). It was also used for similar purposes during the Ottoman Era. Today, you can observe some of the historic monuments at site including Serpentine Column, Egyptian Obelisk and German Fountain. After that we will continue with Blue Mosque. Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet Mosque), a unique example of Ottoman architecture. The inside walls of the Mosque are decorated with beautiful Turkish Tiles. Million Stone (an ancient monument partially remained today. It is situated right at the centre of the city to show the directions to East and West.

Then continue to St.Sophia Museum (Holy Wisdom Church) built on 537 as the Cathedral of East Roman Empire. Today, it is a museum where the remains belonging to Christianity and Islam are visible together. It is currently listed on World Heritage Sites List. The tour ends with a visit to Grand Bazaar. (One of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world. You will have the set menu lunch including local food which is included in the tour price. (Drinks are self payment). In the afternoon, you will visit Topkapi Palace (former residence of Ottoman Sultans and today is a museum including the sections of Treasury, Sacred Relics, Sultan Pavilions and Harem), after that you will visit Sultan Tombs of 17th and 18th centuries.

The tour finishes at around 17:00 and the guide will show you the directions on how to get to your hotel. Overnight accommodation in Sultanahmet

Day 3 (Group Bosporus & Black Sea Cruise, breakfast and lunch included)

Our guide will meet you at around 08:30 in the hotel reception and firstly visit the Egyptian Bazaar (Spice Market) built in 1664 and filled with the fragrance of the exotic East such as spices, dried fruits, Turkish delights. The Bosphorus cruise by TurYol boat takes about 1.5 hour and you will see the most impressive sights along the shores of the Bosphorus including Dolmabahce Palace, Ciragan Palace, Maiden´s Tower, Bosphorus bridges, Rumeli and Anadolu fortresses and Ottoman Residences. After the cruise, you will return back to Sultanahmet area for lunch break at a restaurant with your guide using public transport.We will have a lunch break in a traditional Turkish Restaurant.

We firstly visit Beylerbeyi Palace , and we will visit Camlica Hill, exposing a panoramic view of Istanbul and Bosphorus from the best point of view. After the tour you will be transferred to your hotel around 18:00. Overnight accommodation in Sultanahmet

Day 4 (Group Cappadocia Tour, breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

With an early pick-up from your hotel around 05:00am, we will transfer you to Istanbul Airport and have the flight to Cappadocia. Our driver will meet you at the airport and drive you to our agency office to start the trip. The Tour will start with the most important place in Cappadocia: Goreme Open Air Museum. The museum is a big monastery complex and there are 9 churches over 1000 year-old that you can visit. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985 and our guide will give information about the history of the region & museum. After visiting the site about 1,5 hours, we will drive to Love Valley Panorama Point to see some interesting shaped fairy chimneys and Red & Rose Valleys from a nice angle.

Then, we will drive to Pasabag Fairy Chimneys to see the best-protected fairy-chimneys in Cappadocia region. Pasabag is also called as “Monks Valley” and there are a lot of multiple-headed fairy chimneys. Our guide will give you information about the formation of these fairy chimneys and the entire region as well. After the visit, we will drive to Avanos to have our lunch in a small boutique restaurant.

After lunch, we will see the kick-wheel pottery demonstration in Avanos which is an art almost 4000 years old inherited from the Hittites. Then, we will drive to Kaymakli Underground City for about 30 minutes to see the largest underground city in Cappadocia. The city is an amazing architectural carving that has storages, churches, living areas, wineries and so much more. The final visit will be in Pigeon Valley to see the beautiful view of the valley and Uchisar Castle from a panoramic point. After this visit, we will drive you back to your hotel around 17:00. Overnight accommodation at Carus Cappadocia Hotel.

Day 5 (Group Cappadocia Tour, breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Optional Hot Air Balloon Flight in the early morning can be a good start the day with sunrise.

Our tour today will start at 09:30 and drive about 5 minutes to the Goreme Panorama Point to see Goreme Town and valleys of Cappadocia from a higher point. Our guide will give you information about the history and geography of the region. The next visit will be after 40 minutes drive in Derinkuyu Underground City which is the deepest one in Cappadocia region. The underground city has all the amenities of a classical underground city, but in this one, you will reach 60 meters below the ground.

We will then visit one of the most spectacular canyons in Turkey: Ihlara Gorge3 km hike will be one of the highlights of our tour. We will hike through the canyon for about 1 hour along the river, passing by Byzantine rock-cut churches decorated with frescoes. We end the hiking portion of the tour near Belisirma village, where we will have lunch in a quaint riverside restaurant.

After lunch, we will drive about 15 minutes to climb up to Selime Monastery which is the biggest one in the region. We will see the monastery, kitchen, cathedral and church sections after climbing there. Then, we will drive about 1,5 hours to get back to Uchisar area to see the traditional stone art demonstration and Pigeon Valley at the same place. After these visits, we will drive you back to your hotel around 17:30.  Overnight accommodation at Carus Cappadocia Hotel.

Day 6 (Flight to Ephesus, free day at leisure)

We will pick you up two hours before the flight and take you to Kayseri Airport. You will have a direct* flight to Izmir Airport. Our driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel in Selcuk. You will have a free day at leisure today. You can visit St. John Basilica on this day which is going to be very close to your hotel. Overnight accommodation in Selcuk.

Day 7 (Group Ephesus Tour – breakfast and lunch included)

We will pick you up from your hotel around 09:30am and drive to Ephesus Ancient City, one of the biggest excavations in the world. We will visit the Odeon, The Fountain of Trajan, the stream baths of Scholastica, Hadrian and Domitian Temples, impressive library of Celsius. We will then visit The Grand Theatre, where Saint Paul preached. The theatre was the largest one in ancient times with capacity of 24.000 seats. The walk in the Ephesus ruins will be around 2 hours and then we will have the lunch.

After lunch, we will visit The Artemis Temple which is one the Seven Wonders of the World in Ancient World. We wil drive to The Virgin Mary House which is believed that she lived there for a while with St. John the Evangalist. The tour will end around 4:30pm and we will take you back to your hotel. Overnight accommodation in Selcuk.


Day 8
(Group Pamukkale Tour – Flight to Istanbul, breakfast and lunch included)

We will pick you up from your hotel around 08:00am and drive to Hierapolis Ancient City. We will visit the biggest Necropolis (cemetery) in Turkey, The Domitian and Byzantium Gates, Main Street and The theatre which has a capacity of 20.000 seats. After visiting the theatre, you will have some free time to enjoy a possible swim in Cleopatra Pool. There is an extra 10 Euro entrance fee for this pool. The walk in the Hierapolis ruins will end with the arrival to Travertine terraces.

The travertine pools are very strange formations caused by thermal springs which contains huge amount of calcium bicarbonate , chalk and limestone. The travertines cascade down the hills naturally and very much resemble a frozen waterfall. The tour will end around 4:30pm. After the tour we will transfer you to Denizli Airport for a flight back to Istanbul. Our driver will meet you at the airport and drive you back to your hotel in Old City area. Overnight accommodation in Sultanahmet.

Day 9 (Transfer to airport for flight back home)

On your last day in Turkey, you will have free day for your leisure until the transfer time to the airport. We will then drive to Istanbul Airport for your flight back to your country.

* Direct Flights to Izmir may not be available in winter or the flight might be in the afternoons. We will offer connecting flight options in those cases. The rate for the package might be a little cheaper or expensive depending on early or late bookings because of the flight ticket rates.

The rate for the tour will be 1150 Euro per person on minimum 2 people. The single supplement fee is 230 Euro. The rate includes:

It is possible to have private tours in Istanbul, Cappadocia and Ephesus area which makes the itinerary much more flexible. Our regular tours have maximum 14 people while private tours will be only for your party. We can customize the itineraries up to your personal requests.
