Highlights of Cappadocia Tour will start at 09:30 from your hotel in Goreme or a bit earlier if you are staying in other towns. The first stop will be the most important place in Cappadocia Region: Goreme Open Air Museum. The museum is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. You will see the best-preserved rock-cut churches in the area. The next point will be Love Valley Panorama Point where you will see the most interesting fairy chimneys in Cappadocia.We will have our lunch in Avanos and see the kick-wheel pottery demonstration which is an art almost 4000 years old in the area.
We will then visit Pasabag (Monks Valley) with the best preserved fairy chimneys in the region. The fairy chimneys in this valley is the best examples in Cappadocia region and they are also called as “mushroom fairy chimneys”.After that, we will visit Devrent Valley to see the famous camel-shaped fairy chimney in Cappadocia.
The next stop will be Kaymakli Underground City after driving about 30 minutes which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Cappadocia. After experiencing the life in underground, we will drive you to Pigeon Valley to see Uchisar Castle and the valley from a panoramic point.
